Bank of America

Problem:

The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded Bank of American a 10-year contract that allows government agencies to choose purchase, travel, fleet, and integrated credit card services from Bank of America and four other banks. Each government agency had their own unique accounting and billing systems.

Solution:

The Government's accounting and billing systems required Bank of America to design a new desktop management system for these accounts, the Electronic Access Government Ledger System (EAGLS). Infotek designed the database that is the foundation of EAGLS. EAGLS provides daily invoices and ensures that bills are going to the right funding category. Since the Department of Interior started using EAGLS the delinquency rate on payments have been below 1 percent and the department has earned more that $9 million in rebates.
