Problem:

FannieMae made a strategic decision to change from a mainframe shop to a microsystems and client/server shop they had no in-house expertise in the two new technologies

Solution:

FannieMae decided to outsource all system administration requirements to Infotek and several other vendors. Infotek provided FannieMae with their first database administrator. FannieMae's database team has grown to more than 30 to accomodate all of the support and development requirements.
